The Parish Council is very aware of the problems associated with Car Parking on Station Road as you approach the station. As people may be aware we have no statutory powers to make changes but we are in discussions with Kent County Council (KCC) about the introduction of parking restrictions and SouthEastern Railways about expanding the car park at the station into what was Fordhams Coal Yard – a site that is owned by the Railway. If you have any comments or would like to share your views please email pluckleyparishclerk@gmail.com
The next parish council meeting will be held on the 7th July starting at 19.30 in the village hall. The agenda can be viewed here but if there are any issues you would like to raise or discuss please feel free to email the clerk or come along in person and chat with us
We’re delighted to say that the Neighbourhood Plan Review received overwhelming support in the referendum with over 90% of the votes cast being in support of the plan. Just over 30% of the village took the time to vote so a massive thank you to everyone and we look forward to the plan becoming adopted by ABC
The public consultation to discuss potential transport and road layout plans for the centre of the village is being held on Tuesday 16th of January at 7.00 pm in the village hall. Everyone is welcome and your feedback and suggestions are critically important.
